Snap, Capture, Pop!

The Nepean Museum's latest exhibition, "Snap! Capture! Pop!", was installed in the museum's gallery in September 2015. The new exhibition tells the story of the development of photography in Ottawa through images and photographic equipment. The exhibition is more than a simple collection of cameras, however. "We're exploring how people tell stproes through their photographs," explains Ashley Stevens, Collections Management and Exhibitions Supervisor. "Pictures can say a lot more than meets the eye. We want visitors to also think about what stories they are trying to tell when they take their own photos."

Admission to "Snap! Capture! Pop!" is by donation. The exhibition will be on display at the museum until July 2016.
