Juried Art Exhibition: "Fairfields: a moment, a season, a day"
Juried Art Exhibition: "Fairfields: a moment, a season, a day"
On Display from July 5-July 24th at Atrium Gallery, Ben Franklin Place
Each year, the Nepean Museum has the opportunity to put on a temporary exhibition in this gallery. In 2011, we worked in partnership with the Camera Club of Ottawa to present ‘Nepean: Then and Now.’ In 2012, we collaborated with ESL students from St. Pius X High School in the exhibit ‘New to Nepean: Celebrating Nepean’s Newest Settlers,’ which honoured their immigration experiences. Again, in 2013, we would like to work with members of our local community to create an exceptional exhibition.
The 2013 exhibit, entitled ‘Fairfields: a Moment, a Season, a Day,’ will seek to highlight the talent of local artists and photographers using Fairfields Heritage Property as the subject.
If you would like to learn more, or book a tour of Fairfields, please contact Katie Graham directly by email at [email protected] or by phone at 613-723-7936.
The deadline for this opportunity has passed. Thank you to everyone who submitted art, and we hope to see you in July!
