Facility Rentals |
The Nepean Museum charges an hourly rate for room usage. This policy is in accordance with the Parks and Recreation branch of the City of Ottawa fee schedules. We have two Community Rooms:
Non-Profit Groups A group that offers a service or program that does not have the goal of making a profit. (Community associations; service clubs; self-help groups.) Room B $10.16 per hour Room C $6.00 per hour Private Activity A private group or an individual citizen offering an activity to an exclusive target audience. (Celebrations, company meetings, and workshops.) Room B $29.61 per hour Room C $25.05 per hour Commercial Activities A “for-profit” individual or group that has selling product(s) and /or services as its primary goal. Room B $46.53 per hour Room C $35.77 per hour If your group requires the usage of both Rooms B & C, the hourly rate will be a combination of the individual hourly rates for Rooms B & C. These amounts include GST. These prices are subject to change pending the outcome of budget reviews for the City of Ottawa. A $200.00 Damage Deposit separate cheque is also required to be held in trust and returned, if not used to cover damages, at the end of the last rental period.
