This program focuses on the curriculum needs of the earth and space science unit in Grade 9-10 Science. This in class presentation outlines Canada’s involvement in the space industry, including achievements and contributions of local astronaut Steve Maclean.

This program focuses on the curriculum needs of the Food and Nutrition unit in Grades 9-10 Social Science. This in-class presentation compares individual lifestyles of days past with the present and the effects of change.

History (Grades 9-12)
War Peace and Security

This presentation focuses on the curriculum needs of the war and peace and security unit for Grades 9-12 History. This presentation will concentrate on the involvement and contribution of Canadian women in WWI and WWII.

Local Heroes


English/Writers Craft (Grades 9-12)
Local Heroes

This project focuses on the curriculum needs of the English and Writers Craft class for grades 9-12. This is a writing/research project in which the students will write about a local hero in Nepean.
