Lindsay MacDonald

Lindsay was born and raised in Mississauga ON, attending Acadia University in Wolfville, NS Lindsay received a BA in History. Lindsay ventured overseas to complete a Masters Degree in Museum Studies at the University of Leicester in the UK. Upon returning she volunteered and worked for three local heritage and art institutions in Mississauga before making the trip to Ottawa to work as the Education and Volunteer Coordinator. She is looking forward to fulfilling her new role as Director/Curator.
Kalle Boucher

Kalle was born in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. In 2003 Kalle moved to Sackville, New Brunswick to attend Mount Allison University where she received her BA in Art History. In pursuit of a career in the heritage field, Kalle then moved to Ottawa in 2007 to attend Algonquin College’s Applied Museum Studies Program. While attending Algonquin Kalle worked at Nepean Museum in various capacities. Having recently graduated from the program, Kalle has become a more permanent fixture in the Museum, taking on the role of Acting Education and Volunteer Manager. She looks forward to this role and serving the community of Nepean.
Emily Bracewell

A graduate of the Algonquin College Applied Museum Studies program, Emily Bracewell also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Business. She comes to the Nepean Museum straight from the Canadian Museum of Civilization where she worked behind the scenes as an Assistant Documentalist and an Artifact Technician.
Ted Ross

Ted Ross is a long time member of the Greater Ottawa heritage community and has worked with several community museums and heritage organizations. He is an active volunteer with Watson’s Mill in Dickinson Square, Manotick and is now employed as the Office Administrator with the Nepean Museum. A graduate of Algonquin College’s Applied Museum Studies and Radio and Television Broadcasting Programs, Ted also holds National Certification in Voluntary Sector and Arts Management. He is a National Scholar with the Garfield Weston Merit Scholarship for Colleges and a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal.
